These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GameLikeUs, located at gamelikeus.com ("the Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. GameLikeUs is operated as a personal project from Salt Lake City, Utah, United States.

You retain ownership of content you post on GameLikeUs — threads, replies, reviews, and profile information. By posting content, you grant GameLikeUs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of operating the site.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or in violation of any third party's rights.
In addition to these Terms, all users must follow our community rules when participating in discussions:
No harassment or personal attacks. Criticize ideas, not people. Threats of any kind will result in an immediate ban.
No hate speech. Content that demeans people based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic is not permitted.
No console war trolling. GameLikeUs exists for all gamers. Deliberately antagonizing users for their platform choice will result in a warning or ban.
No spam or self-promotion. Do not post repetitive content, unsolicited advertisements, or links designed to drive traffic to your own content without prior approval.
No spoilers without warning. Always use a clear spoiler warning before revealing plot points for games released within the last 12 months.
No illegal content. Do not post piracy links, cracked game files, cheats that harm other players' experiences, or any content that violates applicable law.
GameLikeUs aggregates news headlines and excerpts from third-party gaming publications via RSS feeds. All articles link directly to the original source. We display only the title, a short excerpt, and a thumbnail image as permitted under standard RSS syndication practice. All original content remains the property of its respective publishers. If you are a publisher and wish to have your content removed, contact us at support@gamelikeus.com.
The GameLikeUs name, logo, design, and original site content are the property of GameLikeUs. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without written permission. Game titles, images, and trademarks referenced on the site are the property of their respective owners.
We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights or should be removed, contact us at support@gamelikeus.com with details.
GameLikeUs may display advertising in the future. Advertisers do not influence editorial content or community moderation decisions. If you are interested in advertising on the site, contact us at support@gamelikeus.com.
GameLikeUs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times, error-free, or free from viruses. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party news content aggregated via RSS feeds.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameLikeUs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of data or revenue. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months (which for a free service is zero).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site following any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
